CBCT

A CBCT is a Cone Beam Computed Tomography which is essenitally a specialized type of CT scan that provides detailed 3D images of specific areas of the teeth, jaw and surrounding structures. With the high resolution images, our doctors can detect bone related issues, fractures, soft tissue anomalies and nerve pathways.  It is a particularly useful tool for implant planning and oral surgery.  Our doctors will recommend this scan only if needed and if it will provide more details and clarity than a regular digital xray.
