Dr. Sukhraj K. Samra, DMD
Dr. Sukhraj Samra is passionate about dentistry. After receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1995 from The University of British Columbia, Dr. Samra continued to pursue further advancements in dentistry. She is a certified Invisalign and Botox provider. Dr. Samra has also taken several courses in dental implants, dental bonding and orthodontics. She is devoted to providing comprehensive and high quality care to her patients. Her philosophy is to build long term caring relationships with a gentle chair-side manner which has helped her establish and maintain long-standing relationships with her patients. Dr. Samra loves to create beautiful smiles. She believes trust and proper communication is the key to optimum clinical success and patient satisfaction. She is more than happy to go the extra mile to ensure her patients are well taken care of. Dr. Samra is a firm believer in continuing education and modern technology to create a life-long healthy smile you will love and be confident to show.
Dr. Kamran Rahimkhani, DMD, MSc
In 1996, Dr. Kamran Rahimkhani started his career as a dental surgeon upon completing the Doctor of Dental Surgery Program at Shahid Beheshti University in Iran. He then obtained a Masters of Science degree in Endodontics (root canal therapy) and became an endodontic specialist. As an associate professor, Dr. Rahimkhani taught dentistry, more specifically endodontics, at the University of Tabriz for more than three years. In 2007, Dr. Rahimkhani relocated to Canada and received the Doctor of Dental Medicine designation at the University of British Columbia. He has been practicing dentistry since then, focusing on endodontic treatment.
Dr. Mohammad Moshtaghi, DDS, MSc
Dr, Mohammad Moshtaghi, affectionately known as Dr. Mo, is a skilled dentist from Iran. Since 2001, he has specialized in focusing on challenging implant cases, demonstrating expertise in intricate procedures such as immediate implant placement, sinus lift, bone grafting, gingival grafting, and more, with high success rate. After earning his DDS in 1995 and an MSc in Periodontics in 2001, Dr. Mo ran a successful private practice in Iran,and served as an assistant professor at Guilan University.
In 2015, Dr. Mo brought his expertise to Canada, where he’s been a licensed general dentist. His main focus remains on precise implant surgeries, tackling complicated cases that demand his skills and experience. Driven by a passion for learning, he actively participates as both an instructor and a student in specialized courses, staying at the forefront of advanced implant dentistry.
Dr. Jay Lam, DMD, BMLSc
Raised in Delta, BC, Dr. Lam earned a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science Degree and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Lam practices general dentistry with a special interest in oral surgery, where he enjoys applying his skills to deliver precise and effective patient care. Throughout his education and early career, Dr. Lam received numerous awards for his academic aptitude and community involvement. He has been on exchange to Korea and Japan, and on an oral surgery externship in New York. He serves as a mentor for dental students, and intends to continue his services as a clinical instructor in the future.
Dr. Honey Patel, DMD
Dr. Honey Patel has been practicing general dentistry since 2013. She is a detail-oriented dentist with excellent patient management skills and strong professional values. She believes in providing the highest standard of dental care. Dr. Patel’s dental interests are vast as she stays up to date with all current methods in dentistry by attending a number of continuing education courses annually. Dr. Patel is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment where patients of all ages can feel at ease. She has a special talent for working with children, making dental visits positive and enjoyable. Dr. Patel believes in preventative dentistry and is able to provide many restorative procedures without the use of local anesthetic, making the appointments more tolerable for young children.
Dr. Jeevyn Dhaliwal, BDSc Hons
Born and raised in the beautiful Fraser Valley, Dr. Dhaliwal completed her dental degree from the University of Queensland in Australia. She spent time working in underserved and rural areas which deepened her commitment to providing thoughtful and individualized care. Dr. Dhaliwal enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is especially known for her calm, gentle approach that helps patients feel at ease during their visits. More than anything, she takes pride in building lasting relationships with her patients through clear and effective communication.
